NOTICE is hereby given that the Regular Meeting of the Planning & Zoning Commission of the City of Lucas will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2007, at 7:00 p.m. at the Lucas City Annex, 185 Country Club Road, Lucas, Texas, at which time the following Agenda will be discussed.

Citizen Comments

The Planning & Zoning Commission invites citizens to speak on any City business item. In accordance with the Open Meetings Act, comments of public interest will be heard, but no action may be taken by the Planning & Zoning other than to refer the item to a future agenda. Please complete and submit to the City Administrator a “Public Meeting Appearance” sheet prior to the meeting.

 

1) Citizen’s Comments.

 

Regular Agenda

The Action Items are intended to provide the Commission the opportunity to discuss the issue at hand and ask questions of the applicant. Generally, the public is not to comment during this time; however, the Chairperson may make an exception.

 

2) Discuss and Consider a request by Louis and Karen Gigliotti for the approval of a preliminary plat known as Monte Carlo Estates, 32.807 acres, Lots 1 – 12,

Block A; Lots 1 – 2, Block B situated in the T. James Survey, Abstract No. 477, J.

Thompson Survey, Abstract 893, City of Lucas, Collin County, Texas. (South

side of Snider Lane approximately 900’ east of Shady Lane)

 

3) Discuss and Consider a request by Martha Jones for the Estate of Roberta

Crumpton and Sterling Development Group 2 for the approval of a preliminary

plat known as Lucas Crossing, Lots 1-8, Block A being 35.0237 acres situated in

the William Snider Survey, Abstract No. 821, City of Lucas, Collin County, Texas.

(Northeast corner of West Lucas Road and FM 2551)

 

4) Adjournment.

 

As authorized by Section 551.071 (2) of the Government Code, the Planning and Zoning

Commission may convene into closed Executive Session for the purpose of seeking confidential legal advice from the City Attorney regarding any item on the agenda at any time during the meeting.
