Notice is hereby given that a Regular Meeting of the Home Rule Charter Commission of the City of Lucas will be held on Monday, November 26, 2007, at 7:00 PM at the Lucas City Annex, 185 Country Club Road, Lucas, Texas, at which time the following Agenda will be discussed.

The Home Rule Charter Commission invites citizens to speak on any item. In accordance with the Open Meetings Act, comments of public interest will be heard, but no action may be taken by the Home Rule Charter Commission other than to refer the item to a future agenda. Please complete and submit to the Chairperson a “Public Meeting Appearance” sheet prior to the meeting.

6) Discuss and Consider the proposed Home Rule Charter,
Article 1, Form of Government, Section 1.01 Form of Government; Section 1.02
Boundaries; and Section 1.03 Extension and Alteration of Boundaries, and other
Sections of the Charter as deemed necessary. (Tabled from the September 24,

7) Discuss and Consider the proposed Home Rule Charter,
Article 2, Section 2.04(6) Operations of
Public Services or Utilities by City with regard to any revisions needed based
on decisions made on any other Article listed above; and other Sections of the
Charter as deemed necessary.
8) Discuss methods of getting educational information to
the citizens and whether or not a sub-committee should be formed to aid in
publications and educational meetings.
9) Discussion for items to be placed on future agendas.
10) Adjournment.
